SSAA NSW Hill Top Shooting Complex will be open four days a week with a structured schedule that ensures safety and efficiency.

The 500m Range supports a variety of SSAA disciplines, allowing shooters to sight in rifles and test handloads. Targets are positioned at 50m, 100m, 200m, 300m, 385m, and 500m, accommodating rimfire to larger centrefire cartridges. The range is equipped with sixty shooting positions under an acoustic shelter, offering weather protection without being restrictive.
The 50m Pistol Range boasts five separate allocated areas cater to multiple pistol disciplines and is also open to air rifles and rimfire rifles, including .22LR, .22 MAG and .17 HMR, making it a highly versatile venue for SSAA members and other shooting clubs.
Current pricing arrangements will remain in place until 1 January 2026. SSAA NSW will provide an updated price list to clubs and stakeholders some time after they take over management and operation of the complex.
No, however SSAA NSW propose to implement a new operating model from 1 January 2026. In the interim, there will be minimal changes to operations.

All Clubs continue to have access to the Complex, along with casual shooters. Clubs and individuals also have the option to train and compete at Sydney International Shooting Centre or another privately operated facility.
It is the OOS’s and SSAA NSW’s’ intention to respect these arrangements and transfer the agreements.
During the transition period, a new range approval will be required. N.B. all activities must be within the range template and approval.
It is SSAA NSW’s intention to host events in accordance with the Development Consent requirements and the Range Approval.
